July 29, 2016 Washington, DC— eHealth Initiative (eHI) announces second annual Innovation Challenge. The Challenge invites entrepreneurs and startups from around the world to submit proposals that tackle major healthcare system problems, such as:
• Waste reduction,
• Virtual infrastructures, and
• Improved consumer interfaces.

Interested individuals can submit their proposals online. The applicants of the leading proposals from each category will be invited to come to Washington, DC October 4-5, 2016

Policy Alert: Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Obamacare

The Supreme Court ruled today that Obamacare's insurance subsidies can go to residents of any state.
The justices said that the Affordable Care Act does allow subsidies to be provided in the 34 states that did not set up their own insurance exchange. The vote was 6-3.
