Washington, DC – January 12, 2023 - Today, Executives for Health Innovation (EHI) released the report, Executive Spotlight: A Deep Dive Into Upcoming Cybersecurity Legislation With Healthcare Executives. The report contains insights from an Executive Roundtable panel comprised of leaders, including representatives from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Health Sector Coordinating Council (HSCC), Intermountain Healthcare, MedCrypt, Medtronic, Claroty, Office of Senator Mark Warner (D-VA), and UC San Diego Health. The group examined the top legislative concerns driving executives, including new guidance and regulations related to medical devices, healthcare systems, and patient data. In addition, experts dove into the latest draft of the FDA’s Pre-Market Guidance for Medical Device and pending regulations and legislation.
