The Health IT Standards Committee (HITSC) meets monthly to make recommendations to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) on a policy framework for the development and adoption of a nationwide health information infrastructure. This summary pertains to the March 26, 2014 meeting involving presentations on the Standards & Interoperability (S&I) Framework, the Voluntary 2015 Edition EHR Certification Criteria (“2015 Edition”), and the Meaningful Use Stage 3 Recommendations.
