The Health IT Policy Committee meets monthly to make recommendations to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) on a policy framework for the development and adoption of a nationwide health information infrastructure. This summary pertains to the February 4, 2014 meeting involving updates from the Data Analytics team, ONC Standards team, Meaningful Use Workgroup, and the Privacy & Security Workgroup. ONC representatives also provided an update on the Regional Extension Centers and the draft HITPC 2014 Policy Workplan.
