As a follow-up to surveys in 2013 and 2014, eHealth Initiative and the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) conducted a survey of healthcare providers in May and June of 2015 to assess the anticipated impact of the transition to ICD-10. Specific areas of focus included readiness for testing and implementation, anticipated financial, clinical, and operational impacts of the transition, and post-implementation strategies for maintaining productivity.
