On June 3^rd, a multistakeholder group of organizations, including eHI, sent letters to House and Senate Appropriations Committees to urge the removal language in the Fiscal Year 2021 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies (Labor-HHS) Appropriations bill that prohibits the US Department of Health and Human Services from spending any federal dollars to promulgate or adopt a national unique patient identifier.
