This month we are excited to feature the work of a New York HIE, Healthix, offer congressional perspectives on opioid abuse and privacy, and highlight key findings and best practices discovered through eHI's 2018 workgroup presentations and discussions.

The eHI Workgroups were busy last year bringing together thought leaders from across the industry to examine best practices in chronic care management. Leslie Kelly Hall, VP, LifeWIRE Corp, Morgan Honea, CEO, CORHIO, and Al Kinel, President, Strategic Interests, LLC, will give participants a look at key findings that provide a solid basis for the business case for health information technology in chronic care management.

Todd Rogow, President and CEO, Healthix, will give the HIE perspective on strengthening behavioral health-data exchange in the realm of 42 CFR Part 2, and the challenges of privacy and security considerations.
