Current responsibilities
Dr. Feaster is Chief Medical Information Officer at CHOC Children's Hospital. One of his many roles at CHOC is to help design and implement technology to support population management, both for current at risk populations, and an evolving ACO serving Orange County, California. He has helped guide the organization through MU Stage 2 readiness and the organization's recently awarded HIMSS Stage 7 EMR Adoption designation.

Dr. Feaster has been involved in Information Technology for over forty years, and has helped several hospitals where he's worked implement information systems. Dr. Feaster has held several administrative positions including Medical Director of Women's and Children's Services at Sutter Health in Sacramento, Sr. VP , CMO and CIO, Community Medical Centers in Fresno, and VP of Ambulatory Services and Executive Director of the Pediatric/OB Faculty Practice at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.

As Vice President and Chief Medical Informatics Officer of Population Health, Dr. Marc Overhage is responsible for leading the population health innovation strategy and solution design for Cerner. He collaborates with leaders across the company and industry to enhance Cerner’s industry leading Population Health platform and solutions.
Marc focuses on developing, deploying and evaluating clinical information systems with emphasis on clinical decision support and regional health information exchange. He makes an impact by conducting research focused on the use of informational interventions to modify provider behavior including computerized provider order entry, clinical decision support systems and other forms of feedback.
Leadership experience
He joined Cerner in 2015 with the Siemens Health Services acquisition as Chief Medical Informatics Officer. Marc has more than 25 years developing and implementing clinical and scientific systems and evaluating their value.
Prior to Cerner, Marc was the Director of Medical Informatics at the Regenstrief Institute, Inc. and a Sam Regenstrief Professor of Medical Informatics at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Accomplishments
Working at the Regenstrief Institute, he created a community wide electronic medical record called the Indiana Network for Patient Care, containing data from any sources including laboratories, pharmacies and hospitals in central Indiana. Over 104 acute care hospitals and more than 22,000 physicians participate in the system, which includes inpatient and outpatient encounter data, laboratory results, immunization data and other selected data.
Marc is a graduate of Wabash College and has a Bachelor of Arts in Physics. Marc is also a graduate of Indiana University of Medicine and has a PhD in Biophysics and MD
