Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients, or CRISP, is a regional health information exchange (HIE) serving Maryland and the District of Columbia. CRISP serves as Maryland’s statewide health information exchange. They utilize analytics to support hospitals and community based providers as they identify high risk patients. Their innovation uses pass dashboards and longitudinal records. It focuses on supporting three categories: high risk patients, services support coordination, and performance measurement.
