In 2015, eHealth Initiative’s Business and Clinical Motivators Workgroup is working to contribute to the business case for health IT by identifying, understanding, and communicating successful examples of innovative uses of technology while focusing on the factors that contribute to that success.
During the meeting, participants will hear from Joseph Herman, MD. Dr. Herman has helped implement health information technologies and process improvement strategies at the Pancreatic Cancer Multidisciplinary Clinic at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Using a model to evaluate workflows to improve efficiency, Dr. Herman and his team increased the clinic’s patient volume and improved the quality of care provided. Please join the Business and Clinical Motivators Workgroup for an interactive discussion with Dr. Herman about lessons learned and strategies for undertaking similar work.
We are restructuring the Workgroup to best align with eHI's 2020 Roadmap. Tony Scheuth, Advisory Council for the Workgroup and CEO of Point-of-Care Partners, and Leslie Kelly Hall, Chair of the Workgroup and VP of Healthwise, will be providing an update.
