eHealth Initiative Changes Name to Executives for Health Innovation, Announces New Branding

Washington, DC – November 15, 2021 – eHealth Initiative (eHI), a catalyst for healthcare transformation, announced today that it has changed its name to Executives for Health Innovation (EHI) and revealed a new logo and brand identity.

This rebranding strategy reflects both the evolution of EHI and its vision for the future. For 20 years, EHI has served as the industry leader in convening executives from multi-stakeholder groups to transform the delivery of healthcare using technology and innovation. The new name reflects the EHI coalition of thought-leaders and change-makers that have been built since its inception in 2001.

“Our name has changed to more clearly represent the work we do as an organization,” said Amy McDonough, Managing Director & General Manager at Fitbit Health Solutions, and EHI Board of Directors Chair. “EHI continues to work with our member organizations toward consumer-centered health that is lower cost, higher quality, and more accessible for all populations.”

“We’re living in a time of dramatic change in the way people are receiving care,” said Jen Covich Bordenick, CEO of Executives for Health Innovation. “Influential healthcare organizations are in a position now, unlike any other time, to reimagine the way healthcare is delivered. Our new name embodies the leadership and innovative collaboration needed to meet this moment and transform healthcare for all.”
